hope: Call me an optimist, but somehow I didn't plan for the possibility that two entire units would both behead and sacrifice us.
hope: I thought that seemed a little overkill for anyone to do, let alone two units, but it seems I still have lessons to learn in my advanced age.

Jason: 1, i'm not on bad end anymore. don't count on me. last i checked, bad end opted to kill fin only slightly less hard than we did you.
Jason: 2. don't blame me for you not playing defensively.
Jason: 3. don't let the half with some sort of weird suicidal kick take it out on the rest of you.

hope: I wasn't counting on you. I wasn't, strictly speaking, counting on anyone.
hope: You know, though, if we had played defensively, we would have been beheaded twice, still.
hope: It's not as if we martyred ourselves by giving another unit our best outcome. It takes more than one party in this game to create our situation.
hope: You don't seem like the type to look for absolution.

Jason: if you'd decided to go after us twice, fine.
Jason: in a world where bad end dead end gets preached as being literal to every newbie who sticks around longer than a day, acting like it wasn't a possibility is stupid.

hope: Though strictly speaking on the matter of "deserving" my stance is rather that no one deserves what we got, in fact. I'm firmly against torture conceptually.

Jason: in a game with a minimum number of deaths, play like everyone will kill you.

Jason: you're going to grow and change however you want. and i got no right to dictate it. but i'm not going to coddle you because of our former association, which, again, means nothing.
Jason: best you'll get out of me is that i won't be prioritizing bit over any team ever again.
Jason: and even that'll fail the minute i'm not at a game.
