hope: The life of your people is one that my world knows only how to reach toward, imperfectly. I believe it is worth striving for, regardless.
hope: I know no one can offer us protection except perhaps LiliS due to our arrangement. Everyone has people here important to them, and we cannot always come first. That is a reality of our situation.
hope: I pray that we may yet find some way to change it, but so far there are precious few solutions.

Accomplice: A thought I had was what it would perhaps be useful to be able to communicate during such games, especially ones where we have to make wild guesses as to how other units will play and adjust our own actions accordingly. But then I come to realize that it would likely only lead to more bickering about who should get the short end of the stick. Even if we had spread the damage evenly during that game, one unit had to die. I assume they would have prepared some kind of a horrific tie-breaker, or killed all of us, or simply chosen randomly had the points tally been equal for all of us.

hope: If we had managed to pull such a thing off, I'd be satisfied with being able to at least stymie the entities in charge of this place.
hope: For spite and for justice, I will gladly stake my life.
hope: It seems though, that your unit—or at least certain members—would rather avoid temporary death if at all possible.

Accomplice: I... cannot say I blame him.
Accomplice: I've gone through his past in his heart and his nightmares.
Accomplice: I died in quite a few ways that night, but I think what happened in Jason's heart was even worse than in Absinthe's, and I had to amateurishly kill myself there.

hope: I'm beginning to think you need to be wrapped in bubble wrap, Levity.

hope: I respect why he wants to protect himself. But that means you are in for slightly different difficult conversations with him and your unit. I am sure you are aware of this.

Accomplice: Why bubble wrap?.. I did not get turned to glass.

Accomplice: I do know it will be hard, yes. But I want us all to be open with one another. We already start off games discussing what each one of us wants to avoid and how to achieve that. Surely we can do that outside games, too.

hope: Consider it a figure of speech. You just seem to me to be the sort of person that gets into trouble.
hope: I hope you get your own conundrums sorted out. Jason strikes me as the sort of person who cares a whole lot but has to bury it under twenty layers of dirt first, but I hope he can maybe get that down to, oh, fifteen.

Accomplice: Who doesn't get into trouble here?
Accomplice: You're quite right about Jason. Speaking of--have you seen him after the game?

hope: Not since he fixed Kiri Hellfire's face. Did he abscond?
hope: I'll keep an eye out.

Accomplice: He hasn't been back yet, and I know there was some conflict during the game. And given the way he is, well, I have my worries that he'll brood himself into oblivion. I would like to drag him back before that happens.
Accomplice: So if you happen to spot him or know that someone else has, please let me know.

hope: He does seem the type. I'll let you know right away if I run into him.

Accomplice: 👍
